Sow Good

Welcome to Sow Fresh, Sow Good, my journal of allotment gardening starting in Autumn 2018. It follows one of the hottest summers on record, and one spent growing vegetables in the garden with my toddler, Darcie.

We learnt so much during the year and had so much fun along the way. I'll never forget her face the first time she pulled a carrot from the ground, or how she'd eat the peas from the pods quicker than I could harvest them. 

I enquired about an allotment thinking that the waiting list would be a couple of years, however we were in luck. A plot had become available with the added bonus of a greenhouse in place.  

This website is all about or journey through growing our own veg. The trials, tribulations and lessons learnt, of which there will be many because as of this moment I know very little indeed....
